Administration and Commercial Management (DUT GACO)

By the end of this two-year IUT course, students must be able to assist a manager in the overall running of a small or medium-sized company or contribute to a more specific department in a larger organization –such as Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources or Communication.

To develop these skills, the GACO course involves:

• academic fundamentals, for a sound background

- economics

- law

• business applications, for hands-on experience and professional  know-how

- 10 weeks on work placements

- 300 hours of tutored business projects

- lectures by bankers, HR managers, consultants

• an open environment, for flexible communication skills and adaptability

- cultural activities in and out of the university

- international links

- computer technology tools and applications.

English is a compulsory subject, with optional second foreign languages -Spanish, German, Arabic and Chinese.

After completing the course, most students register for a degree course or other forms of further studies.
